Getting the panel tilt right is a small but important step on every solar install, and measuring it precisely in the field usually means reaching for a dedicated tool.
Unirac saw a chance to make that step effortless by using a device every installer already carries.
We built UClinometer, a native iOS app that turns an iPhone into a precise inclinometer. Drawing on the phone’s built-in motion sensors, an installer can read the panel angle instantly on-site, no extra hardware to carry or calibrate, just the phone in their pocket.
A simple, purpose-built field tool that puts accurate tilt measurement one tap away, making a routine part of every solar installation quicker and more convenient for the crews doing the work.
